Principal Search
Wonderful news! The Principal Search Committee has finished the search process for a new principal. The committee worked many long evenings trying to find the best fit for our school community. We feel very confident and excited about our choice, Ms. Selina Innes. Ms. Innes is currently working in Montana in the Corvallis School System, where she has taught fourth through eighth grade, and served in a number of administrative roles, including Dean of Students and Head Teacher. Ms. Innes also brings unique strengths as an educator, including experience as the gifted and talented coordinator, as a mathematics instructor, and as the director of her school district’s teacher technology program. In recognition of these and other accomplishments, she received the 2011 Aspiring Principal Award from the School Administrators of Montana.
Ms. Innes will be moving to the Ballard area in the next month, and is very excited to be joining not just the school, but also the parish community. She was an active member of her parish in Hamilton, Montana, where, among other activities, she taught religious education classes and otherwise exhibited a strong appreciation for the value of Catholic education in her community.
